Rebuilding Hope in Jamaica

After the devastating effects of Hurricane Melissa, Positive Legacy is committed to making the biggest impact we can for communities in Jamaica — and we need your help. This December, all donations to our Jamaica Disaster Relief Fund will be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000, doubling the support we can deliver to the people who need it most.

During our Jam Cruise Day of Service in 2024, Positive Legacy had the privilege of visiting Robin’s Nest Children’s Home in Montego Bay. We saw firsthand the love, care, and support this beautiful mountaintop home provides to the children. Surrounded by lush hills and ocean views, Robin’s Nest is a sanctuary offering safety, stability, essential care, education, and unconditional love.

We are deeply committed to making sure they get the help they need again, especially now.

One Love Brigade

In addition to the Robin’s Nest, you may remember we provided bicycles for some of the young people there. That was made possible by another phenomenal partner, the One Love Brigade. They were instrumental in helping us put the logistics together for that wonderful day together in Jamaica.

The One Love Brigade team is already hard at work in Jamaica right now. They have been actively transporting food and hygiene supplies for distribution - with a goal of at least 1000 relief bags! They are also rebuilding 2 schools that were damaged during the hurricane. They are standing by to team up with Positive Legacy to help the wonderful people of Jamaica.
