The Oasis Project Match Campaign
This year, Positive Legacy is joining forces with the Rotary Club of Grand Turk to provide some much-needed infrastructure to the Eliza Simons Primary School, as part of Jam Cruise 22.
We are providing a $25,000 grant to complete The Oasis Project — transforming the school’s outdoor space into a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for students. Together, we’ll create a shaded lunch area, refresh the landscape, and expand recreational space.
Why it matters
In 2017, hurricanes Irma and Maria devastated the school, destroying key buildings including the students’ lunch shed. While a concrete slab remains, the school still needs a roof and seating to restore a proper, shaded eating area. By upgrading the lunch shed and extending the playground, we can give students a safe, joyful place to eat, play, and thrive.

HONORING BRIAN HITCHCOCK
Last year, we lost a member of our Jam Cruise family. Brian Hitchcock. To celebrate his life, many of his family and friends chose to direct memorial gifts in anticipation of Positive Legacy's JC22 project.
