Tim Carbone & Galactika Deep Roots Album Project

We have a great opportunity to make something happen that is a long time coming - record and produce Galactika Deep Roots (formerly the Treefunkers) music featuring Tim Carbone!

Galactika Deep Roots (formerly The Treefunkers) formed in the exotic Mexican Caribbean in 2015. The band consists of members who come from different genres and cultures. Alternative and eclectic band where Space Funk, electro dance, gypsy music combines with the explosion on stage and consciousness in the discourse, where the union of different genres becomes a single concept.

For the last 11 years, Tim and The Treefunkers have had the opportunity to collaborate and play at almost every Strings & Sol Day of Service. It’s time to share their fantastic sound with the world, but we need your help to make this cross-cultural musical endeavor a reality!

Galactika Deep Roots and Tim will record an album after Strings & Sol this year (12/16/24 to 12/20/24) in a state-of-the-art recording studio in Puerto Morelos. They will get back together in early February to finish mixing the album as well.

We would love your support to help cover the $8,500 for studio space and the costs to bring these fine folks together to make musical magic.

Proceeds from the project will support Positive Legacy's ongoing humanitarian and environmental work.
