Strings & Sol 2018 Day of Service and Intercultural Connection

Join Positive Legacy for a visit to the local community, Central Vallarta, for a day of cultural exchange, community service and celebration!
Positive Legacy is excited to bring Strings and Sol guests back to Central Vallarta, a small community that has rich relationships and is full of heart, but has little financial means. We will spend the day constructing the community's new medical clinic and bathroom (which are being funded by Positive Legacy), building a fence out of plastic bottles, and painting a mural on the side of the school house (which Positive Legacy funded last year).
Once the the medical clinic is completed, the government has agreed to send doctors to provide checkups and care to the residents in Central Vallarta, who otherwise are unable to receive medical support. The community members struggle to meet their basic needs such as food, water and shelter, making the medical clinic project unattainable without Positive Legacy's support. After our service work, we will enjoy a traditional Mexican meal and local music, as well as an opportunity to zipline and swim in a cenote (a natural, fresh water pool).
