Panic en la Playa Day of Service & Cultural Connection

We'll spend our day helping to beautify the middle school! With the help of our local partner, the RCD Foundation A.C., we'll complete some much needed painting, cleaning and adding new equipment to the school grounds.

Participants will also take the plastic they collect and working alongside some of the local school children, will stuff it into those plentiful plastic bottles we find everywhere to create benches to be used at the school. So, let's get excited, and get ready to turn filth into function, creating ecoliiks!

After completing the morning's projects, we'll connect with our new friends and relax to the rhythms from local musicians while we eat an authentic Mexican lunch before heading back to the resort to enjoy another evening of music!

Schedule – Day 3 - Tuesday, April 16th, 2024

10:00a - Meet at Positive Legacy Headquarters, board transportation

10:30a - Depart for School in Puerto Aventuras

10:35a - Brief description of DOS Activities and what the reef school is all about

10:45a - Arrive at school

10:50a - Welcome & Opening Comments & Orientation to Activities

1. Split into groups -

a. Painting

b. Clean up

11:00a - 11:40p Service Project Begins

12:45p - 2:40p – Live music, lunch & educational presentation

2:45p - Group photo & board transportation and travel back to the Hard Rock

3:00p - Arrive at the Hard Rock
